🌻 74. You are even before you could say the words 'I am'. Witnessing happens to the state prior to your saying the words 'I am'. 🌻
The source, substratum or background has to be there before anything can appear on it. You say 'I am', but 'you' are before that, only because of this can you say 'I am'. Witnessing happens to that formless state which is prior to your being through the 'I am' which has appeared on it.
That unborn state is ever present, it is neither the 'I am' nor does it require the 'I am', it is beyond needs or any sort of dependence.
