🌻 Crises of the Solar Angel - 2 🌻

The first initiation gave birth to the I AM consciousness. The second fertilization of humanity prepares us to overcome the human limitations and to bring forth the consciousness of THAT I AM.

From the viewpoint of the Hierarchy, there is an urgency to inform people and thereby allow them to orient themselves towards spiritual love and life, so that these qualities can emerge.

Today’s blossoming of the human mind indicates that the Solar Angel makes his presence palpable within humanity.

The Solar Angel also goes through an initiation and has decided for a new, faster rhythm. We call this the influence of the Aquarian age, and we too should adapt to the new rhythm.

Whether we like it or not, we are being transformed. It is a crisis in which personalities must give way - or be broken. We can ascend to a higher level and be reborn in spirit.

But there are also groups of old souls on the planet who have missed earlier opportunities for development. They are now continuing here and are causing more problems than being cooperative. Such a situation must not arise again.

Also many aspirants lose themselves too much in unessential things. We should not play with spiritual concepts, but put them into practice and focus increasingly on the soul. This is of great urgency.

Guru Geeta - 19: God determines Guru for each person, and the disciple has no right to find fault that his Guru

🌷 God determines Guru for each person,  and the disciple has no right to find fault that his Guru 🌷

Indra realized the truth and meditated upon his Guru Brihaspati as per the instruction given by Lord Dattatreya. By the grace of Lord Dattatreya, Brihaspati appeared before Indra.

Indra was under the false impression that Brihaspati had concealed himself somewhere.

As a matter of fact Guru is all-pervasive. He does not go anywhere. That is the secret of the Guru principle. In truth Lord Datta and Brihaspati are one and the same.

Lord Datta, who knows this secret, summoned Brihaspati, and he at once came and stood before Indra.

Had Indra alone begged for Brihaspati to come, he would not have come. Because Lord Datta intervened and helped Indra, Brihaspati came.

Because of his repentance, his intense penance, and the exhaustion of the effects of his past bad karma, Brihaspati cleansed Indra of his sins and restored to him his past glory.

By the command and grace of Datta, and by the prayers of Indra whose eyes were now opened to his own past mistakes, Brihaspati gave Indra back his power and grandeur.

When one as great and powerful as Devendra could have suffered a fate such as this, it requires no mention how vulnerable the frail and weak-minded humans and other gods are.

During the incarnation of Lord Dattatreya as Sri Narasimha Saraswati, a similar incident occurred.

A spiritual aspirant, displeased at the short temper of his Guru, left him and approached Sri Nrsimha Saraswati. Many people mistakenly criticize that he, who cannot control his own temper is not eligible to be Guru.

Sri Narasimha Saraswati gave the seeker some good counsel and explained that each individual gets the Guru that he deserves, and sent him back to his previous Guru.

God determines Guru for each person, he said, and the disciple has no right to find fault that his Guru has either a short temper or that he is frivolous.

The story of Trisanku is a good example. Under no circumstance should Guru be changed. Similarly, one cannot have two or three gurus, one for the morning, one for the evening, and for the holidays.

Gurus are not restaurants that one can visit a different one each week and as per wish order a different item from the menu each time, such as masala dosa, etc.

One should have only one Guru. You cannot have one Guru for explaining scriptures, one Guru for singing songs, one Guru for performing rituals, and so on.

9. Evil had appeared in the world for the first time. The Sun was unable to discern what was going on beneath the thick crowns of giant trees. These effectively concealed evil, which had managed to steal in surreptitiously.

The All-Seeing Eye of the Sun partially lost its power, for he could not illuminate the hidden back side of the Earth.

10. The condensation of Matter came to the end of its tether. Billions of years had passed, and human souls were still similar to stones... How could they have become so callous and impenetrable? It was a difficult question to answer!

They had become acquainted with evil, who was already rotating his black wheel of time in full swing, standing just beyond the border of the Light.

While, on the reverse side, the darkness was trying to obscure the whole of the Light so as to transform him into gloom. But for that she needed some assistance from earthlings.

🌻 IT IS THE MIND THAT IMAGINES THAT IT DOES NOT KNOW AND THEN COMES TO KNOW..... 🌻

All talk of ‘gnana’ (knowledge) is a sign of ignorance. It is the mind that imagines that it does not know and then comes to know.

Reality knows nothing of these contortions. Even the idea of God as the Creator is false. Do I owe my being to another being? Because ‘I am’ all ‘is’.

My teacher told me to hold on to the sense ‘I am’ tenaciously and not to swerve from it even for a moment. I did my best to follow his advice and in a comparatively short time I realized within myself the truth of his teaching. All I did was to remember his teaching, his face, his words constantly.

This brought an end to the mind, in the stillness of the mind I saw myself as I am – unbound.

🌻 The Phases 🌻

God takes human form as the Avatar in order to reveal to mankind the way of Truth, and therefore whatever he does is for the benefit of the world.

The Old Life, the New Life, the Fiery Free Life and the Seclusions are the phases essential to awaken the world toward the way of Truth.

These phases were lived by the Avatar himself for the sake of his divine work, and his work was, is and will always be to reveal to mankind the way to Truth.

Though the Avatar always reveals the way clear to mankind during his manifestation, the manifestation is another phase of his work; it is the result of his work.

Every time the Avatar comes there is another state of circumstances in accordance with which he has work, and therefore according to the different circumstances, he has to structure his work in various phases during the particular Avataric advent.

It is in the period of his manifestation that all these phases of his work become clear and evident, and these phases reveal the ways to the path of Truth.

🌻  Bayajabai's Brilliant Service  🌻
Tatya Kote's mother, Bayajabai, used to go to the woods every noon with a basket on her head containing bread and vegetables. She roamed in the jungles koos (about 3 miles) after koss, trampling over bushes and shrubs in search of the mad Fakir, and after hunting Him out, fell at His feet.

The Fakir sat calm and motionless in meditation, while she placed a leaf before Him, spread the eatables, bread, vegetables etc. thereon and fed Him forcibly. Wonderful was her faith and service.

Every day she roamed at noon in the jungles and forced Baba to the partake of lunch. Her service, Upasana or Penance, by whatever name we call it, was never forgotten by Baba till his Maha Samadhi.
Remembering fully what service she rendered, Baba benefited her son magnificently. Both the son and the mother had great faith in the Fakir, Who was their God.
Baba often said to them that "Fakir (Mendicacy) was the real Lordship as it was everlasting, and the so called Lordship (riches) was transient".

After some years, Baba left off going into the woods, began to live in the village and take His food in the Masjid. From that time Bayajabai's troubles of roaming in the jungles ended.

Chapter 8
🌻. Baba Begging Food 🌻

Blessed are the people of Shirdi, in front of whose houses, Baba stood as a beggar and called out, "Oh Lassie, give Me a piece of bread" and spread out His hand to receive the same.

In one hand He carried a Tumrel (tinpot) and in the other a zoli or choupadari, i.e., a rectangular piece of cloth. He daily visited certain houses and went from door to door.

Liquid or semi-liquid things such as soup, vegetables, milk or butter-milk were received in the tinpot, while cooked rice, bread, and such solid things were taken in the zoli.

Baba's tongue knew no taste, as He had acquired control over it.

So how could He care for the taste of the different things collected together? whatever things He got in His zole and in the tinpot were mixed together and partaken by Baba to His heart's content.

Whether particular things were tasty or otherwise was never noticed by Baba as if His tongue was devoid of the sense of taste altogether.

Baba begged till noon, but His begging was very irregular. Some days He went a few rounds, on other days up to twelve noon.

The food thus collected was thrown in a kundi, i.e. earthen pot. Dog, cats and crows freely ate from it and Baba never drove them away.

The woman who swept the floor of the Masjid took some 10 or 12 pieces of bread to her house, and nobody prevented her from doing so.

How could, He, who even in dreams never warded off cats and dogs by harsh words and signs, refuse food to poor helpless people?

Blessed indeed is the life of such a noble person! People in Shirdi took Him in the beginning for a mad Fakir. He was known in the village by this name.

How could one, who lived on alms by begging a few crumbs of bread, be revered and respected? But this Fakir was very liberal of heart and hand, disinterested and charitable.

Tough He looked fickle and restless from outside. He was firm and steady inside. His way was inscrutable.

Still even in that small village, there were a few kind and blessed people who recognized and regarded Him as a Great Soul. One such instance is given below.

Chapter 16
🌻 Removing The Veil  - 2 🌻

This threshold between illusion and Reality is bridged only by the universal mind.

In  the Avatar's universal mind are harmonized the individual minds of all beings. Each
limited individual mind is made of bindings, and it is these bindings that create the veil of
ignorance which separates one from God.

To cross this threshold between Reality and  illusion the Avatar must lift away the veil, and this veil is not completely removed until one is prepared to abandon illusion forever. Bindings serve the purpose of creating this veil between God and man, and this purpose is served as a  preparation to see God, for once one sees God he sees nothing else ever again. He becomes blind to illusion. These bindings are as bandages around the eyes - they prepare one for the sight of God. But the bandages must be removed before  divine sight can be given.

It is the Avatar's work to remove these bandages, but the work is difficult because the bandages are so old and encrusted, and the consciousness is so used to being blind.

The Avatar works by cutting the bandages, one by one, pulling them apart, and as light pours in through the thinner layers the Avatar suffers, because the pull of the forces of light and darkness intensifies.

It takes a long time to remove all these bandages, for every cut produces pain, because when the forces of light and darkness meet there is always more struggle, and thus increased suffering. Because of this struggle  between light and darkness, most must remain blindfolded during the whole process of  the Avatar's work.

The Avatar works in inexplicable ways to remove the veil, and it is when one sees the suffering he goes through in removing the bandages that one tears at his own veil.

Through awareness of the Avatar's suffering one's veil is torn. Oh, the suffering of longing that one goes through, for the veil has been torn.

🌻. Beingness goes into no-beingness. 🌻

The ‘I amness’ is pulsating ‘I am, I am’. The feeling of ‘I amness’ is there because of the essence of the food body and vital breath, when these are gone the pulsation of ‘I amness’ will not be there.

Because of the knowledge ‘I am’ we conduct all activities. In the morning when you wake up you get the first guaranty, that conviction of ‘I am’.

Beingness goes into no-beingness. Then because you are not in a position to sustain or tolerate that ‘I amness’ you bestir yourself. You get up and move around here and there and the activity starts.

That attention of ‘I amness’ is always there in the waking state, but we are not alert to watch it. There is no other attention to be followed. Be attentive to that attention ‘I am’.

7. Love reigned supreme all over the world! She was calm and content in her earthly domains.

All the celestial bodies supported her in that Divine Work. Only the Sun sometimes peered anxiously into the bowels of Earth during the times when she hid her sides from him as she rotated.

Because of the density of Matter, the Sun was not able to glimpse what was happening on the other side of the planet.

8. Eventually, robust vegetation girdled the world, hiding the gentle flowers in its shadow and choking their tiny stems with its mighty roots.

These giants seized power and began to swallow light greedily, cutting off the warm solar rays from those who were shorter and much weaker than they. Without the caressing warmth of the All-Loving Sun, lesser creatures withered and perished.

🌻 Crises of the Solar Angel - 1 🌻

At the beginning of creation there were many great crises where the developing creation was almost extinguished again. As the Indian Puranas narrate, however, high beings saved the creation from destruction.

There are many stories about how Narada rescued the creation through his intelligent activity.

In the early days of mankind, in the mid-Lemurian period, a great crisis occurred when the Manasaputras, the Sons of Wisdom, awakened the mind in the animal man.

This made us self-conscious, thinking persons and therefore we can think “I AM”. The soul that we are in our essence is part of a great being.

It is also called Solar Angel and in the Vedic system Vasudevaya. In each of us, he works as an individual soul. It is as if in the water of a river there were thousands of glasses and in each glass there was water.

As the Solar Angel descended into the personality, he experienced the crisis of individualization: the one soul appeared as many souls.

This was part of the great Plan to implant spiritual light into the human beings and make them self-conscious. Two qualities were held back: spiritual love and spiritual life.

The Solar Angel is now again approaching a time of crisis and reorientation. When he realigns himself, everything that is lower than him must necessarily also realign itself to the new order. Now it is a matter of the many becoming one again.

Guru Geeta - Datta Vaakya - 18: Only The Guru Whom You Have Hurt And Discarded, He Alone Can Wash Away Your Sins And Can Uplift You.

✍️. Sri GS Swami ji
📚. Prasad Bharadwaj

🌷 Only the Guru whom you have hurt and discarded, he alone can wash away your sins and can uplift you. 🌷

We have learned that, deprived of the strength of Guru, Indra was unable to bear the effects of the sins of killing brahmins, and hence ran away from heaven and took shelter inside a narrow lotus stalk where he spent 10,000 years composing and continuously singing innumerable prayers. Indra could have easily avoided this great calamity.

To this day we remember and chant the prayers composed by him, such as those addressed to Lakshmi, Datta, and other deities. Nahusha in the meantime became Indra, the Lord of Heaven.

See what plight Indra had to suffer because he rebelled against Guru? Because of the merit earned by presiding over all the sacrificial rituals performed under the guidance of Viswaroopa, and because of the merit earned by composing and chanting the innumerable prayers, Lord Dattatreya appeared before Indra inside the lake where he was hiding, and disclosed to him the truth which Indra had yet not realized, that the root cause of all his suffering was that he blamed and rejected his Guru Brihaspati.

Indra was fortunate that Datta gave Indra the clue to get over his predicament, “You knew that no one has the right to change Gurus as if exchanging vegetables. You were blinded by your arrogance. See how low you have had to fall because of your ego?

People who keep switching their loyalty towards Guru, incur curses, and seek the shelter of other Gurus can never escape this kind of a terrible downfall which results from sin.

Because you have sung my praises, I have appeared before you. But still, even if you surrender to me now, you will not be spared from the degradation caused to you by your rejection of Guru Brihaspati.

Since you have blamed and rejected your original Guru Brihaspati, and you have caused him intense grief, regardless of how much penance you perform, and how many deities shower their grace upon you, your situation will not improve.

The one and only means by which you can atone for your sins is to perform deep penance with unwavering devotion addressing your Sadguru Brihaspati, and to beg and plead with him fervently to forgive you for your sins. Only the Guru whom you have hurt and discarded, he alone can wash away your sins and can uplift you.”

By his immensely compassionate nature, Datta blessed Indra with the strategy for overcoming his dire situation. Up until now, there was no one else who cared to show Indra the way out.

Let us see how Indra, who has now realized his mistake, uses this knowledge to make amends, and what the future holds for him.

🌹 AVATAR OF THE AGE MEHER BABA MANIFESTING  - 59 🌹

Chapter 16
🌻 Removing The Veil  - 1 🌻

Avatar exists in the consciousness of God, and simultaneously the consciousness  of everyone and everything.

Because everything that is real and that is illusory is in the  Avatar, the forces of both the real and the illusion pull at each other in his being.

Because  of all these forces pulling within him, he feels as if he is being pulled apart, and this  feeling of being pulled apart is the root of his suffering.

When the Avatar pulls together
the forces of Reality and the forces of illusion within himself, he can work, because his  work consists of pulling together into a harmony all the opposing forces of God and  Maya.

In Reality exists eternal bliss without a break, and in illusion continual suffering in  the consciousness of everyone and everything that exists.

In Reality exists infinite
freedom, and in illusion the continual bondage of limitations. So there is always suffering  in bondage, because bondage itself is suffering, for every state of consciousness in
illusion is limited, and cannot find an escape from the barriers of its limitations.

The Avatar as God is free and enjoys the bliss of his freedom, but so long as he is  conscious of the cosmic illusion, he is forever bound by his one duty and responsibility  toward all creation. This one duty pulls him down into cosmic illusion, age after age.

In  the existence of his oweternal, impersonal, formless state of infinitude, the Avatar  enjoys fully his infinite bliss, but when he is pulled into the cosmic illusion to work for
the universe, he has to suffer as does every other individual being.

His suffering is unlike  any other being, because he suffers simultaneously what every being is suffering, and  thus his body is crushed as every being's suffering aches in his body.

Though the physical  body of the Avatar is being crushed, his divinity remains standing in the abode of  Reality; his divinity remains standing at the crossroads of all the forces of Reality and   illusion.

There, standing helpless because of his duty, he is pulled by all the forces in  cosmic illusion, and at the same time, he is pulled by the very power of Reality, because  he is the Reality.

There he stands at the threshold of all time and space, at the edge of  infinity and eternity, pulled apart forever, but pulled together, as each individual, drop by  drop, realizes the Reality.

Because of these two opposite pulls, the Avatar has to suffer  and because these two pulls are always in him, when he is in the body, his body suffers  like no other human being's.

There are levels in consciousness, but not in awareness. It is of one block, homogeneous. It's reflection in the mind is love and understanding.

There are levels of clarity in love and intensity in love, but not in their source. The source is simple and single, but the gifts are infinite.

Only do not take the gifts for the source. Realize yourself as the source and not the river; that is all.

Chapter 8
🌻 Man's Endeavours 🌻

Realizing how precious the human life is, and knowing that Death is certain and may snatch us at any time, we should be ever alert to achieve the object of our life.

We should not make the least delay but make every possible haste to gain our object, just as a widower is most anxious to get himself married to a new bride, or just as a king leaves no stone unturned to seek his lost son.

So with all earnestness and speed, we should strive to attain our end, i.e., self-realization. Casting aside sloth and laziness, warding off drowsiness, we should day and night meditate on the Self.

If we fail to do this, we reduce ourselves to the level of beasts.

🌻 How to Proceed? 🌻

The most effective and speedy way to gain our object is to approach a worthy Saint or Sage - Sadguru, who has himself attained God-vision.

What cannot be achieved by hearing religious lectures and study of religious works, is easily obtained in the company of such worthy souls.

Just as the sun alone gives light, which all the stars put together cannot do, so the Sad-Guru alone imparts spiritual wisdom which all the sacred books and sermons cannot infuse. His movements and simple talks give us 'silent' advice.

The virtues of forgiveness, calmness, disinterestedness, charity, benevolence, control of mind and body, egolessness etc. are observed by the disciples as they are being practiced in such pure and holy company.

This enlightens their minds and lifts them up spiritually. Sai Baba was such a Sage or Sad-Guru.

Though He acted as a Fakir (mendicant), He was always engrossed in the Self. He always loved all beings in whom He saw God or Divinity.

By pleasures He was not elated. He was not depressed by misfortunes. A king and a pauper were the same to Him.

He, whose glance would turn a beggar into a king, used to beg His food from door to door in Shirdi, and let us now see how He did it.

🌻 When they are beset with troubles caused by their own karma, begin studying the Guru Gita 🌻

Because of the insistence of his mother, Viswaroopa secretly began distributing a portion of the fruits of the sacrificial rituals (yajnas) to the demons, while outwardly having the gods perform the rituals for their own benefit.

The performance of so many wonderful yajnas by the celestials made Viswaroopa famous amongst them.

Indra, on one hand began to resent the popularity that his Guru was enjoying amongst gods, demons, and humans, whom he had brought into limelight from obscurity. On the other hand he was unaware of Viswaroopa’s deception.

One day, by the help of Narada, Indra learned of the secret goings on and understood the reason for his guru’s fame. By receiving the fruits of the rituals, the demons were now gaining strength.

In a fit of rage Indra cut off the three heads of Viswaroopa as if he were swatting mosquitoes, without any consideration that he happened to be his Guru. Will the sin of killing Guru spare Indra? Guru was also a brahmin.

The sin of killing a brahmin also accrued to him. In the meantime the demon Vritrasura began harassing Indra. Indra, who now lacked the support of Guru, was unable to withstand the attacks. One Guru he dismissed.

Another Guru he slaughtered. Now he had no help. Under dire circumstances, he somehow managed to obtain the Vajra weapon by the grace of Sage Dadheechi and managed to kill Vritrasura. That is a very big story; a beautiful story.

The sin of killing yet another brahmin befell him. Chased by the effects of these atrocious sins, in fright, Indra ran away from heaven and took shelter inside a lotus stalk within a pond.

Like a small insect he remained hidden inside that narrow stem for ten thousand years. Nahusha, in the meantime became the new Indra. While hiding inside the stalk, Indra spent his time in intense prayer.

Perhaps misfortune has its benefits. Many people, when they are beset with troubles caused by their own karma, out of desperation begin studying the Guru Gita, and the Bhagavatam. They memorize them.

They chant the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, Sri Lalita Sahasranama, Sri Lalitha Trisati, and they try to learn the meaning of these prayers. Let us also study one more time, the meaning of Sri Lalita Trisati that we had learned earlier. During that time Indra composed several Indra Kavachas.

He composed prayers addressed to Goddess Lakshmi, and Lord Dattatreya also. Let us once again chant the Lakshmi Kavacham. Like this, many wonderful prayers came into existence while Indra remained inside the lotus stalk.

5. The planet was doing her utmost. She knew how to love, and what it was to be loved. With all the zeal and fervour of her Loving Soul, she warmed the motionless stones, breaking through their hardness and elasticity. They revived, drinking in the generous currents of Love.

Stones were resurrected! They began to blossom like petals of Divine Flowers, and took their place in turn. The planet was beautified by a profusion of flowers.

6. The warmth of the Sun became stronger, for he was clearly experiencing the magical Power of the influence of Love.

And the flowers loved both their Father Sun and their Mother Earth. They were their children, born in common! The parents carefully looked after their flowers’ luxuriant heads of many colours, open wide towards them.

The Universe beheld the work of the Lords, and was pleased with the flowers’ first successful appearance. Ceaselessly they worked, imbuing the world with a fragrant aroma.

Attracted by the flowers’ Power of Love, constellations generously imparted their own... The Lords of Destiny were content: all was proceeding according to their Predestined Plan.

🌻 Standing above the Pairs of Opposites - 2 🌻

May all beings live in poise, in peace and in happiness.

We cannot just be happy when we alone are content but only when all are content. Otherwise we are egocentric. But even when there is a crisis we can remain in equilibrium and also when there is no crisis.

There are so many crises and conflicts – personal, political, religious and ideological ones. Or also economic and ecologic crises and dangers for health.

Our immediate responsibility is to transform ourselves so that we become useful instrument to help others. Without transforming ourselves we cannot think of transforming others.

In the early history of mankind there was a big crisis when individualisation took place and the one soul became many.

Now the point is that the many become again one and that humanity is reborn in spirit. The personalities have to clear the way; otherwise they get broken.

“Bend or break” is the only choice. Whether we like it nor not, Uranus brings the transformations to introduce the new age.

He doesn’t make compromises. But with the help of wisdom and of the Masters we can transform ourselves and overcome the crises. This is the work ahead of us.

The author knew that the book required fourteen years to write and be in people's hands, but he decided to write simple, short points and reveal the details of the points, but not put all the details and points together.

He decided to simply let someone else do that, because he decided that he had completed all the work sufficient for the book, and that it did not require  his personal hand to  finish the  book.

The  author did  all the  work necessary for the book, the title, points, chapters, charts, etc., but the result or final outcome of the book he did not need to handle personally, and so he died fourteen years before his book came out.

In this manner, Meher Baba finished his divine work early, and so one may conclude that he dropped his body fourteen years sooner than the time he had first planned.

But, because the work he wanted to do was completed in a few months instead of fourteen years, he was able to drop his body, which he did in 1969, and not in 1983.

Meher Baba completed his universal work in the last few months of 1968 and during the first month of 1969, and it was the same amount of work that he would have done in fourteen years.

Because it was the same amount of work, the result of that work will be the same, even though those fourteen years of work are compressed into a few months.

And, though he dropped his body at the beginning of the fourteen years, he was as if physically present every moment of those fourteen years.

Chapter 8
🌻 Importance of Human Birth 🌻

In this wonderful universe, God has created billions (84 lacs according to Hindusastra calculation) of creatures or beings (including Gods, demigods, insects, beasts and men) inhabiting heaven, hell, earth, ocean, sky and other intermediate regions.

Of these, those creatures or souls, whose merits preponderate, go to heaven and live there till they enjoy the fruits of their actions, and when this is done, they are cast down while those souls, whose sins or demerits preponderate, go down to hell, and suffer the consequences of their misdeeds for so long a time as they deserve.

When their merits and demerits balance each other, they are born on earth as human beings, and are given a chance to work out their salvation.

Ultimately when their merits and demerits both drop down (are got rid of) completely, they get their deliverance and become free.

To put the matter in a nutshell, souls get their births or transmigrations according to their deeds and intelligence (development of their minds).

*🌻 Special Value of the Human Body 🌻*

As we all know, four things are common to all the creatures, viz. food, sleep, fear and sexual union. In the case of man, he is endowed with a special faculty, viz. knowledge, with the help of which he can attain God-vision, which is impossible in any other birth. It is for this reasons that Gods envy man's fortune and aspire to be born as men on earth, so as to get their final deliverance.

Some say, that there is nothing worse than the human body, which is full of filth, mucus, phlegm and dirt, and which is subject to decay, disease and death.

This is no doubt true to a certain extent; but inspite of these drawbacks and defects, the special value of the human body is - that man has got the capacity to acquire knowledge: it is only due to the human knowledge that one can think of the perishable and transitory nature of the body itself, and of the world and get a disgust for the sense-enjoyments and can discriminate between the unreal and the real, and thus attain God-vision.

So, if we reject or neglect the body because it is filthy, we lose the chance of God-vision, and if we fondle it, and run after sense - enjoyments, because it is precious, we go to hell.

The proper course, therefore, for us to pursue is the following; that the body should neither be neglected nor fondled, but should be properly cared for, just as a traveler on horse-back takes care of his pony on the way till he reaches his destination and returns home.

Thus the body should ever be used or engaged to attain God-vision or self-realization, which is the supreme end of life.

It is said that though God created various sorts of creatures he was not satisfied, for none of them was able to know and appreciate His work. So he had to create a special being - Man, and endow him with a special faculty, viz.

Knowledge and when He saw that man was able to appreciate His Leela - marvellous work and intelligence. He was highly pleased and satisfied. (Vide, Bhagawat 11-9-28).

So really it is good luck to get a human body, better luck to get birth in a Brahmin family, and best one, to get an opportunity of having recourse to Sai Baba's Feet and surrendering to Him.

🌻 Stop Identifying yourself with Body. Give attention to your ‘I’ consciousness 🌻

Whatever is called God or Self is because there is the beingness, the feeling that ‘I am’.

That is the fundamental principle, the basis of all your knowledge, but you are identifying yourself with the body.

With greatest interest you get absorbed in your Self. By giving attention only to your ‘I’ consciousness you can reach it.

Without giving attention to the body but to the sense ‘I am’.

🌻 Standing above the Pairs of Opposites - 1 🌻

All crises, on every level, have the same evidence and message for us:

Stand above the crisis, above the pairs of opposites and then watch them. When we are above them we see that the pairs of opposites complement each other. As long as we are in them we see opponents and fight.

If, for example, there is unrest in an individual we should ask ourselves why, what the concern is about. It needs a loving understanding to learn the reason. Then we can trace it back to its origin, but not with power or authority.

Each time we suppress something it springs up again. With a loving understanding we can also see the message the unrest on the planet carries in itself.

Our work is to keep away from opinions and to remain dispassionate, without prejudices. When we are neutral, there is no criticism in us, but we reach a higher understanding.

Thus, we call in the light and pass it on so that what is good for all might arise. Crises, also our personal crises, cannot be solved as long as we don’t regularly work for it.

🌻. The Grace of Guru is enough for everything to achieve. Your actions in front of him are like childs play 🌻

What did Indra do? He left Roopa and went to Viswaroopa. Roopa had offered sane advice to Indra which was rejected.

But Viswaroopa had a different and a strange personality. He had three heads, while Roopa had only one head. Lord Dattatreya has three heads, but here this individual was a human with a demonic quality and sported three heads.

With one head he constantly consumed meat, with the second head he consumed liquor, and with the third head he continuously chanted the Vedas. It was very strange indeed.

By wrapping a silk saree on a pig can one make it look beautiful? While eating meat and drinking liquor, if one chants the Vedas, is it of any use? He felt flattered that he was being given the opportunity of being Guru to the gods themselves.

He also had a grudge against his brother. Now that Indra himself had approached him with the request, he felt happy that he got a chance to get even with his brother.

As his Guru, Viswaroopa had Indra perform several sacrificial rituals. In one of them he also had Indra invoke the presence of Lord Dattatreya and earned for him His grace.

Well and good. In addition, Visvaroopa initiated Indra into the Narayana Kavacha so that he would be blessed with victory in battles.

Visvaroopa had great love for his mother, who had much loyalty towards her parents. Secretly, in all the religious rituals, Viswaroopa was arranging for a portion of the fruits of the sacrifices to be distributed amongst the demons.

Outwardly he was having the deities perform great rituals, and as a result, his fame increased amongst them. That was quite natural. Let us see how his popularity is going to diminish soon.

Lumurian Scrolls - 1: Pilgrimage to Planet Earth

🌹 LUMURIAN SCROLLS - 1 🌹
🌴 Pilgrimage to Planet Earth 🌴
📚. Prasad Bharadwaj

🌻 Migrating to this planet 🌻

1. Mankind migrated to this planet in his divine soul body during the Sat Yuga, the age of enlightenment.

He had reached a final stage of evolution on his native planet. The risk in migrating to a fire plan-et was great, but so was the reward.

They were, however, at a place in evolution requiring a planet with fire in it to catalyze them through new experiences into completing their unfoldment to the final re-alization of the Self.

Souls came from the other planets to Earth for one of two reasons: either they came to realize the Self, because they had not previously done so and were just drifting in bliss, or were great beings who already had the Self realized and came to help the others.

They came from everything in a state of status quo. They had come to this planet to get jostled around in the fire to continue their unfoldment.

🌻 The Need For a Fire Planet 🌻

2. When a planet becomes old, it cools. Everything be comes static in it and on it. The beings inhabiting it exist together like a flock of birds or school of fish, so peaceful they are. Souls, who need fire to realize the Self, could not do so on such an old planet, so the leaders pilgrimaged with their fol-lowers to perform the austerity of evolution on a fire planet such as Earth, a hot planet, a young planet.

There will be other planets ready to be colonized at the end of the Kali Yuga. Inhabitants of Earth will be able to rapidly access them by traveling as a ray of their own in-ner light.

🌻 The Lush Conditions of The Sat Yuga

3. In the Sat Yuga, the air was thick and the Earth lush and tropical. The thick clouds of gases and healthful sub-stances floating in the air were the materials the divine souls that came to the fire planet, as they referred to it, would use to materialize a physical body around the etheric body of the soul to express through while living on Earth.

As more and more came to Earth in their etheric bodies, ceremonies were performed in a scien-tific way by those who had already arrived, offering food and flowers, cut fruits and other ambrosia before them so that they could absorb some of the organic essences into the etheric body and mate rialize around and through it Earth bodies.

Their etheric bodies became dense, firm and more defined during these food-offering ceremonies in what were to later become the temples of the Tretâ Yuga. They continued to absorb these food-offering essences until they began to smell and feel and acquired a full physical form and could eat nor-mally, as the animals did on Earth at that time.

🌻 The Arrival Of Various Races 🌻

4. The most highly evolved souls who arrived first on Earth during the Sat Yuga continued to bring more di-vine beings through into physical form from the other planets.

It was part of their mission to do this. Lord Skanda came to Earth in the Sat Yuga. He was one of the most highly advanced souls. He came as the leader of the first group, and will guide them all along through into the next Sat Yuga.

He was the celestial king of Le muria. It was because of this most ancient practice of offering the essences of fruit and perfumed ambrosias to the soul’s etheric body to absorb and thus create a denser body that this plan et became in habited in the Sat Yuga.

As this planet moved through time and space, different races came from the various planets and settled on one area of it or another.

During one phase of planetary configurations, ceremonies would be active in one temple to bring through into dense manifest form a group from a certain planet, and as the planets moved into another configuration, the place on Earth polarizing the rays and race of that planet would become inactive, and another race from another planet would come through at a different location through ceremony.

Chapter 15
🌻 THE FOURTEEN YEARS 🌻

Meher Baba declared in 1969 that he would be physically present fourteen more years.

But on January 31st, 1969, Meher Baba dropped his physical body, so what has happened during these past fourteen years?

The Avatar comes for work, and so Meher Baba must have had fourteen more years worth of work to do before he could rest between advents.

But he cannot take rest until he drops the body; therefore, what work he had to complete over a fourteen year period, he completed fourteen years ago, but the result of his work fourteen years ago has only started to manifest fourteen years later.

So these last fourteen years, from 1969 to 1983, have been a period of work as if he was still physically present; during these last fourteen years he was as if physically working on earth.

To clarify this, suppose a man has to write a book, but he knows when the book is finished he will die.

The book should take fourteen years to write, but the man succeeds in writing the book sufficiently in a few months, and after only these few months he dies.

But the book is not yet read; it still takes fourteen years to get the book to the people he wants to read it; therefore, he must remain concerned about that book and see to it that the book is in the hands of the people by the end of fourteen years.

He succeeds in doing this even though he is not there physically handing out the book.

Guru Geeta - Datta Vaakya - 15: Do not hold your own arrogance and your sin as higher than the power of Guru

🌻 Do not hold your own arrogance and your sin as higher than the power of Guru 🌻

We have learned that because of rejecting Guru, Indra had lost all his power.

The demons observed this and decided to wage war against him, considering this to be an opportune time.

This reminds us of the story of Emperor Nala, who once neglected to wash his feet properly with water, and Sani (Saturn) at once seized the opportunity to enter his life.

One should never perform an incomplete job of washing one’s feet. Troubles will always be waiting in the wings to approach us the moment we fail to watch our actions.

The demons saw that Indra has now become weak, having lost the support of his Guru, who with his power would have crushed the wings of the demons had they attempted to attack Indra.

Now Indra has no one to give him proper timely advice. As if by the influence of Saturn, Indra met with defeat at every step, in his war against the demons, because of the absence of Guru in his life.

Indra, in his bad judgment decided that since Brihaspati had left him, he will go ahead and look for another Guru and priest who is even greater than Brihaspati. It was after all my decision in the past to choose him. He began his search.

Arrogance builds up due to position. Indra became egotistical. Some people act foolishly out of ignorance also.

Tvashta, a Prajapati, for certain reasons married a demon maiden named Rachana. They had two great sons, Roopa and Viswaroopa. Indra approached Roopa and requested him to be his Guru.

Roopa gave good advice to Indra that changing Guru is detrimental both to Indra and to the new Guru, should he accept the request. “Your request is inappropriate, Indra. Changing Guru will bring you misfortune.

The right approach is to plead with Brihaspati to forgive you and to be your Guru once again. Are you greater than Brihaspati, that you are displaying such arrogance?

If you are greater than your own Guru then why do you need another Guru? One must never change Guru. You confess to your Guru that you have underestimated his glory.

Do not hold your own arrogance and your sin as higher than the power of Guru. You are making a mistake. You must not change your Guru. I must not accept your request.” Indra then approached Visvaroopa.

There are those in this world who will not heed good advice. They will not attempt to understand the logic behind the good words. They say, “How do they know my plight? They do not understand.”

They get angry at people who give them good advice. They feel slighted when their request is rejected and fail to consider the reason or justification for the good counsel that has been offered to them.

Their line of thinking goes like this: “I gave you importance and asked you to be my Guru. Who are you to tell me that my action is wrong? If you do not wish to oblige me, simply say so and that is sufficient.

Who are you to offer me advice?” Let us see what happens next.

🌻 Occult Instruments 🌻

Through the occult instruments that we daily use power flows to us. Prayers help us to go through a crisis. Even if we are dashed to the ground, when we pray things change.

However, in a crisis we often are drowned in our emotions and don’t seek help. So the Masters cannot reach us. They often say: “We cannot help you, though we wish to help, because you don’t seek help.”

If we don’t ask for help, they cannot interfere into our system, for according to their understanding unasked help is aggression. So they wait and respect us, for they are bound by the law of love. Hence, the link does not happen.

When humanity is passing through a period of crisis it is very important to pray with intensity. The individual events of life then are not so very important.

It is important to be committed to the well-being of humanity with the will to good; this requires humbleness and not self-aggrandizement. Mahatma Gandhi is a great example, how he opposed the great British Empire with the power of prayer and fasted and prayed during crises.

When there are seemingly insurmountable difficulties, the Upanishads say, “Utter OM”. OM helps with all these matters, it is the general medicine.

The specific remedies are the sounds which emerge from OM. Today OM is uttered in the ashrams with much intent to purify the planet, to restitute peace and to neutralise crises.

When you can neutralise planetary crises with the help of OM you can also overcome individual crises very well. The Upanishads say: “There is no possibility to completely explain OM.”

A good instrument for an effective work on the individual or planetary level is also to visualise a double pyramid around a group, a troubled region, a nation or even around the globe.

I want to take you to that ‘I am’ concept which is the last outpost of illusion and get rid of it. Understand the quality of these concepts.

There are various types of charity, but the greatest charity is the renunciation of the knowledge ‘I am’.

When you give that up you escape birth and death. Waking state represents activity; deep sleep represents peace, quiet.

When these two are present it means ‘I am’ is there, but you the Absolute are neither the waking state, deep sleep nor the ‘I amness’.

What else is there except the touch of ‘I am’? Why do you worry about discovering Maya and Brahma and all that?

Understand what
this principle ‘I am’ is and you are finished. That ‘I am’ is in
bondage because of concepts

Chapter 15
🌻 THE  REAL, FORMLESS, IMPERSONAL  GOD  - 1 🌻

God is always present in his real impersonal form, but it is impossible for people with gross consciousness to imagine this real form of God.

The real, impersonal, infinite and indivisible form of God is utterly beyond imagination.

Imagination always creates forms, and the consciousness of individual limited imagination always feels convinced of the existence of anyone or anything so long as it has a form.

So, God who is without form and body, has to take form and a human body, age after age, in order to convince humanity in illusion that God is infinite and without form or body.

God took human form in the body of Meher Baba in this age, and since God takes form to awaken humanity in illusion to the infinite, impersonal and formless God, Meher Baba's physical body has a tremendous impact on the imagination of humanity.

This is why people experience his physical presence more intensely now than when he was in. the body. People experience his presence through visions, dreams, films, photographs, paintings and stories from his life.

Through the medium of the Avatar's physical body, the impersonal, formless God has revealed himself. Because of Meher Baba's work, the imagination feels the impact of his presence, even though the Avatar is no longer in physical form.

The imagination of humanity sees the form of God through the Avatar's body, and his formless, real presence is felt through the force of love in the heart.

The result of this experience is to turn human consciousness toward the real, impersonal and formless God, who Meher Baba really is.

🌻  Guru should not be ignored under any circumstance. He should never be treated or spoken of lightly. 🌻

We were discussing the story of Indra. In that story, we learned that Indra was living very happily and comfortably in his kingdom. His mind then turned towards sensual pleasures.

What happens to people when they become wealthy? They lose all their wealth in gambling, in consuming liquor, in various vices and evil habits.

Similarly, one day Indra in heaven was absorbed in witnessing the dance and relishing the pleasures given by the Apsaras, the celestial maidens.

At that time, while Indra was intoxicated with arrogance and immersed in the enjoyment of pleasures, his Guru Brihaspati came there.

Devendra ignored his presence. There is no greater misdeed than ignoring the arrival and presence of one’s Guru.

Observing this, Brihaspati left in fury. No one knew where he went. It was impossible to trace his whereabouts even through deep contemplation.

Indra got very angry at Brihaspati that he arrived at an inopportune time without any advance intimation, and also that he left so unceremoniously. ‘When I was immersed in my pleasures, he came in.

Even after seeing me, he left without accosting or greeting me. Is this the proper behavior for a guru and a respectable individual?” Indra was seething with displeasure at the behavior of Brihaspati.

Indra regarded him only as a minister and a priest. He forgot to acknowledge that Brihaspati was his Guru. Brihaspati was giving him guidance and advice as a minister.

Hence, Indra treated him only as a consultant, an astrologer, and as a fixer of schedules of important events, and as a casual counselor.

He never treated him as Guru should be treated. In truth, one who has been accepted as one’s Guru should not be used for such petty services.

It is not fair. It is not proper to treat him like an ordinary consultant. Guru is extremely special and exalted.

There are many qualified professionals who can set dates for marriages and house warming ceremonies. It is wrong to ask Guru for approval of such dates.

Guru is extremely powerful and competent in releasing one from bondage.

He brings about a transformation in an individual. Indra forgot that Brihaspati was his Guru. Because of this misdemeanor committed by him, Indra lost all his acquired merit.

There is no need to elaborate on this. All the accumulated merit and good fortune gets melted away the moment one rejects Guru.

It goes without saying that Guru should not be ignored under any circumstance. He should never be treated or spoken of lightly. It must never be said complainingly, “My Guru predicted something, but it turned out differently.”

Your line of thinking should be, “What if he had said something different, how much worse it would have been for me.”

Guru’s statements should be analyzed from different angles with the conviction, “It is for my benefit that he spoke such words.

My Guru, who knows all past and future lifetimes of all individuals, knows what is best for each one at any given time.” Even Indra, who was so knowledgeable, suffered the fate of losing all his glory because he treated his Guru with disrespect.

Even with great souls crises are something normal. Arjuna could receive the wisdom when he was in a great crisis on the battlefield. Maria Magdalena went through a deep crisis when she was about to be stoned.

At this point there was but Jesus who protected her, and she very clearly realised who really loved her. Thus she found in the Master the only source and got initiated.

Helena Blavatsky experienced strong opposition and her life was often threatened; nevertheless, she worked like a lion. Master EK experienced betrayal, ingratitude and criticism.

In his time of preparation he went through a severe crisis because of the epileptic disease of his son; it lead him to homoeopathy with which he treated his son successfully, and then he used it for the rest of his life to heal countless people. In the lives of initiates we see how through the times of crises they awoke to spirit.

The Master not only brings us crises but also helps us to solve them. But sometimes in the times of crisis the outer Master disappears and stands at a distance to watch how we perform in the crisis.

Thus, he withdraws the outer support so that the inner support mechanism is initiated by sheer necessity. Only if we find the Teacher within can we get through every crisis.

If we face the crisis keeping firmly aligned to the divine the crisis dissolves and a gift of God appears for further progress on the path.
